Nate Murray, MBA | Moderator | Founder and Chief Revenue Officer at Crossover Health

As Chief Revenue Officer and co-Founder of Crossover Health, Nate brings more than 20 years’ experience in and passion for healthcare to his daily interactions with clients. He’s a strong advocate of plan designs that make Primary Care, Mental Health, and Physical Medicine low-to-no cost for members. He has developed shared savings programs that align incentives across partnerships and deliver objective improvements across cost, quality, and experience.

Prior to founding Crossover, Nate led the development of a direct-to-consumer Medicare marketing program and built a large online Medicare broker partner network. He has also worked in Operations and Product Development for several large healthcare payers and has expertise in healthcare technology and helping payers and consumers make cost-effective decisions.

Murray earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Utah and holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Brigham Young University.







Stephen Ezeji-Okoye




Stephen Ezeji-Okoye, MD | Panelist | Chief Medical Officer at Crossover Health

Stephen Ezeji-Okoye, MD, is Chief Medical Officer (CMO) at Crossover Health. With a passion for population health and redesigning systems to drive improvements in quality and efficiency, he manages the delivery of outcomes-based, effective clinical care at Crossover.

Previously, Dr. Ezeji-Okoye led Ambulatory Care Service and oversaw Clinical Operations as Deputy Chief of Staff at the VA Palo Alto (Calif.) Health Care System (VAPAHCS). He also served as Clinical Professor (affiliated) at Stanford University School of Medicine, a national consultant to the VA on the use of integrative medicine practices, and as advisory council member to the National Institute of Health’s National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health.

Dr. Ezeji-Okoye graduated from Harvard College and attended medical school at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. He completed his internship, residency, and chief residency in Internal Medicine at Stanford University.





Sumeet Batra



Sumeet Batra, MD, MPH, FACOEM | Panelist | Medical Director Occupational Medicine at Crossover Health

Sumeet Batra, MD, is Medical Director of Occupational Medicine Programs at Crossover Health. He is responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing Occupational Medicine services customized to client needs. He’s passionate about improving the Occupational Medicine experience for patients and employers by reducing barriers, improving communication, and integrating with primary health.

Before Crossover, Dr. Batra served as a Medical Director overseeing Occupational Medicine programs for large health systems and Fortune 500 companies. He has also provided guidance on Occupational Medicine program design, regulatory compliance, and integration with organizational health + benefits strategy as Medical Advisor for a number of corporations. Dr. Batra is a board-certified Occupational Medicine Physician and a Fellow of the American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine. He earned his Bachelor’s degree and Doctor of Medicine from Northwestern University and completed his residency in Occupational Medicine and earned his Master’s in Public Health from the University of Illinois at Chicago.




Patrick Curran



Stephanie Bourquardez, PT, DPT, COMT | Panelist | Physical Therapist at Crossover Health

Stephanie graduated from Texas Woman's University in 2014 with her doctorate in Physical Therapy and later pursued a certification in Orthopedic Manual Therapy (COMT). She’s done extensive coursework in the neuroscience of pain, functional training, Mulligan Concept manual therapy, and injury prevention. Her interest in functional approaches to orthopedic injury led her to spend 6 years working exclusively with workers' compensation patients.

She enthusiastically joined the Crossover Health Physical Medicine team in 2020 because of their multidisciplinary approach to patient management. She’s currently in the process of becoming a Certified Occupational Health Practitioner through the Academy of Orthopaedic Physical Therapy.

Stephanie is passionate about removing barriers to care and engaging in value-based goal setting to help patients more actively participate in their own recovery process.




Nimisha Kalia, MD, MPH, MBA



Nimisha Kalia, MD, MPH, MBA | Panelist | Chief Medical Officer for GE

Dr Kalia is board-certified in Internal Medicine, Occupational Medicine, and Public Health and General Preventive Medicine. She is currently the Chief Medical Officer at GE and holds regular academic appointments at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, and the Dell Medical School, University of Texas at Austin. She previously served on the faculty at New York Presbyterian/ Weill Cornell Medical College.

She has consulted on Occupational Medicine projects for large academic hospital systems, Fortune 500 companies, and international clients. She brings experience in program development, implementation and assessment, and workers’ compensation programs.
